20世纪是青年的世纪,20世纪的青年文化是叛逆的文化。自本世纪初以来,青年文化悄悄地从西方主流文化的阴影中走到历史的前台,一直以对立的姿态表现自己的个性。正是在这种与主流文化的交错中,青年文化从胚胎走向成熟,并潜移默化地反哺西方社会,给当代西方文化打上了自己的烙印。当然,成熟和反哺的过程充满着矛盾和反复。透视这个过程中西方青年文化的轨迹,我们或许能够得到一些启迪。
The twentieth century is a century of youth. Twentieth century youth culture is a rebellious culture. Since the beginning of this century, the youth culture has quietly walked from the shadow of the mainstream Western culture to the foreground of history and has always demonstrated its own personality in an opposite attitude. It is in this interlace with the mainstream culture, the youth culture from embryonic maturity, and imperceptibly nurturing Western society, to contemporary Western culture marked with its own brand. Of course, the process of maturity and repayment is full of contradictions and repetitions. Looking through the trajectory of Western youth culture in this process, we may be able to get some inspiration.
