杨鹏同志的来信提出了一个很重要的问题，值得有关部门进行研究，作出决策。 游乐设施是丰富社会文化生活的一个重要条件，受到群众的欢迎。但是，任何精彩的游乐都要以确保安全为前提。不然，因参与游乐而遭祸殃，这就不成其为游乐。因此 无论是游乐设施的制造厂家，安装单位，还是建设单位，都必须把社会效益放在首位，切实贯彻“安全第一”的方针。事实上，没有安全保障的游乐设施是不可能有长期的经济效益的。 劳动安全监察部门主动关心游乐设施安全的事，在一些城市已经成为工作制度。人民群众反映这是造福社会的大好事，说这事管得好，管得对；建设单位则从确保安全质量受到广大游乐者的信任，经济上也大有裨益。看来，其它地区进行效仿理应不会有什么不可解决的难题的。为民造福之事，何乐而不为！
