Mogensen 等曾报告过胰岛素依赖型糖尿病患者从发病早期就见肾体积增大,且其肥大程度与肾小球滤过率相关.作者研究呈现潜在性肾病之非胰岛素依赖型糖尿病患者肾体积与尿中的蛋白排出率进展的关系,认为肾脏肥大是肾病进展的一项有用指标.观察对象为在6个月期间内至少有连续三次以上的微量蛋白尿(20~200μg/min)之非胰岛素依赖型糖尿病患者14例。其中男性9例,女性5例,平均年龄52.1±6.1岁,病程平均13.1±4.2年。
