Reading is the main way for people to connect with society. It plays an important role in the process of human civilization and is the most effective way and the crucial way for people to acquire knowledge. With the rapid development of information technology, devices such as mobile phones and electronic readers are gradually popularized. Digital reading has surpassed that of traditional books. The rapid rise of digitalization has quietly changed the way people read. This article starts with the development of digital reading and the difficulties the library faces. It explores how the library can grasp the initiative and attract readers in the era of digital reading to gain new development opportunities.
