2006年初,党中央、国务院隆重召开全国科学技术大会,号召全党全社会坚持走中国特色自主创新道路,努力为建设创新型国家而奋斗。作为企业代表,大唐电信科技产业集团周寰董事长出席了这次会议。在科技部同期组织的“科技创新重大成就展”上,大唐集团的第三代移动通信国际标准TD-SCDMA受到来自中央到地方各级领导及与会人员的广泛关注。近年来,大唐集团在TD-SCDMA、SCDMA系统、微电子产业等领域勇于创新,通过一系列拥有自主知识产权的重大技术创新和突破,使我国电子信息技术在较短时间内实现了连续跨越,在海内外产生了重大影响。由此,大唐集团被人们视为中国电子信息产业领域的科技创新基地。
