今年4月,国家教委和国家民委联合在鄂西土家族苗族自治州首府恩施市召开了全国民族地区职业技术教育及电化教育研讨会。这是一次认清形势、联系实际、交流学习、探索新路的会议。来自11个省和8个地、州、盟的103名民教、职教、电教和民委的代表参加了会议。通过交流学习和总结反思,大家进一步认识了职业技术教育在民族地区经济建设中的重要意义和作用,明确了职业技术教育的发展方向以及办学的方针、方式和途径,对推动民族地区职业技术教育的开发将起到重大的推动作用。
In April this year, the State Education Commission and the State Ethnic Affairs Commission jointly held a seminar on vocational and technical education and galvanic education in ethnic minority areas in Enshi, the capital of Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in western Hubei.
