9.“决定”与“影响”“决定”一词中的“决”本义为疏通水道,使水流出;“定”与“乱”或“动”相对。“决定”即为事物提供方向和性质,使之确定不动。“影响”的本义为影子和回声,有呼应、策应之意,一般指以间接或无形的方式来作用或改变人或事的行为、思想或性质。二者都用来描述一事物作用于他事物的状态,但含义不尽相同:“决定”有“确定事物的性质和方向使之不动”的意思,而且大多指“决定者”对“被决定者”的单向作用,具有不可逆性:“影响”作用一般指事物之间的间接地、无形地相互作用,具有可逆性。在政治教材中,事物的“决定因素”与“影响因素”对事物产生作用的程度和

In political textbooks, the “determinants” and “influencing factors” of things have an effect on things.
