法国Alcatel公司宣布开发出以“SHDSL”(SymmetricHigh-Speed DSL)为标准的Modem(调制解调器)并成功地通过了相互接驳试验。统筹此次试验的是业界团体DSL Forum,实际负责进行试验的是美国University of Hamphire的InterOperability Laboratory。该试验室从事以太网到光纤通道(fibre channel)的各种数据通信网络相互接驳试验。
Alcatel of France announced that it has developed a modem called “SHDSL” (Symmetric High-Speed DSL) and successfully passed the interworking test. The co-ordination of this trial is the industry group DSL Forum, the actual responsible for the test is the United States University of Hamphire’s InterOperability Laboratory. The lab is engaged in a variety of data communication network Ethernet to fiber channel (fiber channel) connection test.
