Animal experiments confirmed that digitalis-specific antibodies or Fab fragments can reverse the pharmacological and toxic effects of digitalis. Clinically, digoxin-specific Fab fragments have been successfully used to rescue large quantities of digoxin-induced severe hyperkalemia and a high incidence of atrioventricular block. Fab fragments more perfect than IgG molecules, because of its excretion fast, so less risk of immunity. This article aims to prove that Fab fragments are rapidly poisoned by digoxin because of their small size and rapid distribution in interstitial tissues. Methods: Sheep were immunized with digoxin - serum albumin conjugate and the average intrinsic affinity constants were 7.0 × 10 ~ 9-1.5 × 10 ~ (10)
