在台湾的科研领域中,化学与化工研究可以算得上一个强项。现今台湾的最高科学研究机构——“中央研究院”1928年在南京成立时,其下属的研究部门中就有化学研究所。1949年“中央研究院”迁台后,化学研究所曾一度停止研究工作。但该研究所自1957年恢复活动后,即迅速地发展壮大起来。现在该研究所从事的研究范围几乎包括了基础化学和应用化学的所有重要分支。它的预算经费差不多全部由台湾当局拨给,但是也从“中国石
In Taiwan's research field, chemical and chemical research can be regarded as a strength. Nowadays Taiwan's top scientific research institution, Academia Sinica, was founded in Nanjing in 1928 and has a chemical institute among its research departments. After the “Academia Sinica” moved to Taiwan in 1949, the Institute of Chemistry stopped its research work once. However, after the Institute resumed its activities in 1957, it rapidly developed and expanded. Now, the research scope of the institute covers almost all the important branches of basic chemistry and applied chemistry. Almost all its budgetary provisions were appropriated by the Taiwan authorities, but also from “China Stone.”
