稻田养鱼促进水稻增产从头季稻孕穗期开始起作用,主要表现为土壤肥力,稻株功能根干重和绿叶面积系数均随水稻生育进程而逐渐提高,以致头季稻穗实粒数、结实率和千粒重的提高而增产。再生稻除此之外,因养鱼明显延迟了头季稻株衰老时间,有利于再生芽萌发,大大提高了亩有效穗数,其增产作用大于头季稻。本试验为指导稻田养鱼的水稻施肥和再生稻高产提供了理论依据。
