舟桥,人们誉之为“水上巨龙”。它顷刻间能使无数江河险滩、水网沼泽魔术般地由“天堑”化为通途,保证部队快速机动、克服各种江河障碍,在现代战争中发挥着重要的作用。因此各国科研机构普遍重视舟桥器材的研究。总参工程兵科研一所渡河桥梁器材研究室在这一领域奋战了40载,取得了一大批重要科研成果,为我国舟桥装备建设事业做出了重要贡献。
