切入磨削法是外圆磨床应用较多的一种磨削方法。它又称定进给磨削法、横磨法和等速切入法,见图1。磨削时,砂轮工作面上的磨粒负荷基本一致。在一次磨削循环中可分为粗磨、精磨和光磨。因为生产效率比较高,所以在大批量生产中得到了广泛地应用。但由于砂轮与工件无相对轴向运动,磨粒在工件上的切痕交错重复的机会较少,因此,加工后工件表面粗糙度差于纵向磨削法,适于加工表面为(?)7~9的范围。
