古希腊有这样一个神话:塞浦路斯国王皮格马利翁雕刻了一尊美丽少女的塑像,并期望她能变成真人与他喜结良缘。在国王的期待下,塑像果真变成了漂亮的姑娘。这个故事虽然是神话,但却给人们某些启示。国外心理学家们曾对某校的小学生进行了一次“预测未来发展”的测验,而后一律撇开测试结果,任意在各班点了20%的等学生,并告诉这些学生说他们有很大的学习潜力和发展前途。一年后再对这些学生进行同样的测验,结果发现他们在智力上真的比其他同学有很大提高。这就是教育
Ancient Greece has such a myth: Pigeon Marion, the king of Cyprus, carved a statue of a beautiful girl and expects her to become a real man with whom he is married. Under the King’s expectations, the statue really turned into a beautiful girl. Although this story is a myth, it gives some enlightenment. Foreign psychologists have conducted a test of “predicting the future development” of primary school students in a certain school. After that, they put aside the test results and arbitrarily place 20% of the other students in each class and tell them that they have a great Learning potential and development.
