沈阳南园果树农场对寒富、宁丰、宁酥、寒光、丹光、丹华、新冠、新帅、新华1号9个品种进行多年试栽比较,发现寒富品种表现最好,其果实大而端正,果面鲜红,平均果重250克以上,果肉黄色,甜酸味浓,有香气,酥脆多汁耐贮藏,与红富士相似。其次是宁丰。平均单果重200克左右,果面鲜红。宁酥在缺钙的土壤中易出现糖密病。寒光果实品质好,但不耐藏。寒富树体抗寒性强,经过1996—1997年10年周期性大冻害,无论低接树或高接树均无冻害表现。树体连年结果能力强,南园万株果树,1997年产果3.5万公斤,1998年产果7.5万公斤,1999年产果15万公斤。而且果实成熟早于国光和富士20多天,9月1下旬即可采收。另外寒富抗病虫能力强,特别抗蚜虫、红蜘蛛、粗皮病,还抗炭疽病、轮纹病等。 1.品种选择以寒富为主栽品
