The voice they heard for 40 years, too familiar, the show host Dottie seems to be a member of their home, they know everything about her and her family’s story. However, surprisingly, Dorjee’s show “The Dottie Ray Show” is not in the studio of KXIC’s radio headquarters but at her home. Compared with the busy metropolis along the east and west coasts of the United States, the city of Iowa is simply the countryside. The city’s main body is the famous University of Iowa, people love to call the city a college town, while the endless farm around is famous for its rich corn. Millstone Avenue, No. 1851 is an obscure, long, blue-green two-story building in the city surrounded by quietness and desertedness and barely visible to a pedestrian. Dorothy, host, lives in an apartment inside the house. And her live studio, housed in a small room that can be called a study.
