玉米螟是一种具有巨大危害潜力的世界性害虫,也是我国玉米上第一大害虫。1994年起在苏北地区连续大发生,加之我场玉米种植面积大,常年使用呋喃丹灌心防治,施药困难,防治效果下降,对玉米产量影响较大。据测定防治田春玉米损失3—5%,夏玉米损失8—10%,未防治夏玉米损失达15—20%。为了控制玉米螟危害,95—96年我们对该虫生活习性。发生危害规律及喷雾防治进行研究,现将结果报道如下:
