The meeting was held in Yanguoxia Hydropower Plant from April 22 to April 25, 1992. A total of 49 experts, engineers and technicians from 17 units in design, construction, operation and scientific research attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed 13 key technical reports on the periodic dam safety inspection. The expert group discussed the preparation of the “Regular Inspection Report on the First Dam of Yanxiaoxia Hydropower Station” and discussed the coordination of work at the next stage. Experts and delegates attending the meeting were divided into three groups: geology, dam engineering and water and sediment respectively, and the corresponding technical reports were carried out
