According to the latest UNAIDS report and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, policy makers and experts in social development studies underestimate the impact of HIV / AIDS on rural communities. The study found that when HIV / AIDS prevalence was seen as an urban problem in developing countries, rural communities were actually more vulnerable than cities in terms of the number of people infected and the long-term potential impact. However, the HIV status in rural areas is often subtle. Due to the lack of monitoring and adequate sanitation, the rapid growth of HIV / AIDS infection in rural areas has now become an important issue, but policy makers are not aware of this. HIV / AIDS is not only a health problem, but also a social development issue. In India, for example, rural populations make up about three-quarters of the population, and recent research shows that HIV spreads faster in rural areas than in urban areas. It is estimated that 4 million people are infected in India at present
