瓠瓜变苦现象,是我国千年来悬而未决的生产问题。不同瓠瓜品种杂交试验的结果表明,某些优良栽培品种间杂交,F_1代全部变苦。F_2则分离为变苦株与正常株两种,其比例经x~2测定符合 9∶7的比率,从而证明基因互补作用是瓠瓜突然严重变苦的原因。即只有显性基因 Bt与I共同存在全株果实才产生浓烈苦味。并根据这一研究提出了在生产上防止瓠瓜变苦的措施。
The melon is a problem that has never been solved in our country for thousands of years. The results of hybridization experiments of different cucumber cultivars showed that all the F1 cultivars all became bitter when crossed with some fine cultivars. F_2 was separated into two kinds of mutants and normal strains, the ratio of which was determined by x ~ 2 was in accordance with the ratio of 9: 7, which proves that the gene complementation is the cause of the sudden severe bitterness and aggravation. That is, only the dominant gene Bt coexists with the whole plant I produce strong bitterness. According to this research, we put forward measures to prevent the melon from becoming bitter in production.
