桔农经常在桔园内发现一些柑桔嫩茎、嫩叶表皮下面被画上了银白色的弯曲图形,称之为“鬼画符”。其实,这是柑桔潜叶蛾的危害造成的,潜叶蛾又叫绘图虫。随着我县柑桔生产的大发展,苗木和幼树增加,致使该虫发生越来越重。据县植保站1994年调查统计,老树的受害率为35％,幼树和苗木的受害率达95％;春梢一般不受害,夏梢受害率达60％,秋用受害率达100％。受害的叶片卷缩或变硬,易脱落,使新招生长不良,严重影响了树势和来年开花结果。并且,被害叶片是害螨的越冬场
