某煤田1905孔当钻进至280多米时，因孔内事故停钻引起严重塌孔，垮渣42米之多。塌孔发生在泥岩层内150余米处，塌孔前使用聚丙烯酰胺泥浆护孔，泥浆粘度21秒。塌孔后用原浆处理两天多无效，后试用PAM-KC1-石灰乳泥浆，用三天多时间治住塌孔，恢复了生产，直至终孔，孔深604米，未发生过坍塌掉块现象。后又经几个孔的试验，效果都非常显著。
