The thought of “governing by virtue” is Confucianism’s original creation, which reflects the basic idea of Confucianism. It was regarded as orthodox and classic in ancient Chinese history and played a decisive role in the political arena and far-reaching. Analyzing it with a scientific world outlook and methodology and drawing useful lessons from it can enrich and develop our traditional culture.
