You are likely to incur a strong reaction from some companies - “Yes.” Since the early 1980s, U.S. business owners have taken progressive steps to control smoking during work. Now, almost a third of U.S. business owners have implemented a regulation that prohibits or restricts smoking in the workplace. Many companies also adopt a number of organizational measures. Helping smokers quit smoking. By the end of last year, 27 of the 50 largest US industrial companies had imposed strict restrictions on or banned smoking in the workplace in order to create and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and thereby increase work.
