湖北省大悟县芳畈镇大塘村农民王先贵,从1981年起就迷上了养鱼。15年来,他不断地从科技报刊上学习养鱼技术、在0.65亩的池塘里实践,把亩产由200公斤提高到500多公斤,形成了一整套精养方法即“八字经”:
Wang Xiangui, a farmer from Datang Village, Fangcheng Town, Dawu County, Hubei Province, has become fascinated with fish farming since 1981. Over the past 15 years, he has continuously studied fish farming techniques from newspapers and periodicals, practicing it in a 0.65-mu pond and raising the yield per mu from 200 kilograms to more than 500 kilos, forming a set of intensive methods called “The Book of Characters”
