国务院信息化工作领导小组于6月3日宣布成立中国互联网络信息中心,同时发布了《中国互联网络域名注册暂行管理办法》和《中国互联网络城名注册实施细则》。此举将使我国的网络发展,尤其是互联网络域名注册步入法制化、规范化的轨道。为此,本刊编发了中国互联网络信息中心(CNNIC)的简介,使读者对今后我国互联网络的发展前景、有关域名的知识、如何注册和保护域名等有一个清楚的了解。——编者
The State Council Informatization Leading Group announced the establishment of China Internet Network Information Center on June 3 and released the Interim Measures for the Administration of Internet Domain Name Registration in China and the Implementation Rules for the Registration of City Names in China’s Internet Market. This move will enable our country’s network development, especially Internet domain name registration into the legal and standardized track. To this end, we compiled a briefing on China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), so readers have a clear understanding of the future development of the Internet in China, knowledge of domain names, how to register and protect domain names. --editor
