1992年9月19～21日,由中国交通运输协会和中国铁道学会主持,在北京京西宾馆召开了“高速铁路发展研讨会”。国家计委、科委、奥申委、国务院办公厅、经贸办、发展研究中心,财政部、物价总局、铁道部、中国科协、中国国际工程咨询公司、中国交通投资公司、中国建设银行、北京市、上海市、天津市、江苏省、山东省、广东省、福建省建委、计委,研究、设计单位和高等院校的130多名领导、专家、学者出席了会议。会议研讨了在我国发展高速铁路的必要性、可行性、紧迫性和实施方案。
From September 19 to September 21, 1992, chaired by China Transportation Association and China Railway Society, “High Speed Railway Development Seminar” was held in Beijing Jingxi Hotel. State Planning Commission, Science and Technology Commission, Olympic Committee, State Council General Office, Economic and Trade Office, Development Research Center, Ministry of Finance, Price Administration, Ministry of Railways, China Association for Science and Technology, China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, China Communications Investment Corporation, China Construction Bank, More than 130 leaders, experts and scholars from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Shandong, Guangdong, Fujian Provincial Construction Committee, Planning Commission, research and design institutes and institutions of higher learning attended the conference. The meeting discussed the necessity, feasibility, urgency and implementation plan of developing high-speed railway in our country.
