液压凿岩技术是70年代发展起来的一门新兴技术,自1970年法国蒙塔贝特公司研制出第一代液压凿岩机以来,许多国家竞相研制发展,目前已有几十种机型,广泛用于采掘、隧道、建筑等各个领域。设备不断改进,能量利用率也不断提高,由过去的30~40%,提高到60%以上,在冲击功等级方面,也由轻型、中型发展到大型(60~700kg·M),而且正在向自动化方向发展,即按照电子计算机储存的孔网信息移动支臂来提供全自动作业。我国从1973年开始研究液压凿岩技术,十多年来也取得了可喜的进展,目前凿岩机已有五种机型鉴定,有的还在调试或工业性
