根据国家《英语课程标准》,小学英语教学应当注意培养学生的学习兴趣和信心,发展其自主学习能力,使他们掌握一定的语言技能,为终身学习和发展打下良好基础。因此小学课堂教学是英语习得过程中最重要的环节。小学英语教学具有区别于其它层次教学的特点和规律,研究并掌握小学英语课堂教学的基本原则有助于提高教学质量和效率。
According to the national “English Curriculum Standards”, English teaching in primary schools should pay attention to cultivating students’ interest and confidence in learning, develop their autonomous learning ability, enable them to acquire certain language skills and lay a good foundation for lifelong learning and development. Therefore, primary school classroom teaching is the most important part in the process of English acquisition. Primary English teaching has the characteristics and rules different from those of other levels of teaching. Studying and mastering the basic principles of primary English classroom teaching helps to improve teaching quality and efficiency.
