Every one of us knows the concept of chlorophyll, but what is the inevitable link between it and energy? This is the new frontier for scientists to explore and focus on. Because human beings can not live without energy forever. In the early 17th century, the Belgian chemist Van Hermonont made the first scientific study of plant growth. He put the weighed soil in a bucket and planted a sapling in it. The tree grew older, but he found the soil as heavy as before. Everyone was so surprised because people had always taken it for granted that plants were getting the material they needed from the soil or were they to grow taller? Van Hermon decided that plants must be made of water The substance that promotes their growth, because he often water the small tree. As a result, subsequent discoveries proved that only a portion of his inferences were correct, and that more energy was originally from sunlight and carbon dioxide.
