以石膏为主要原料,用玻璃纤维增加其强度,形成微细的小气泡可使板材减轻重量。玻璃纤维增强泡沫石膏板的特点如下: (1) 石膏和玻璃纤维可使板材降低厚度,且能充分发挥耐久性能(厚度约为过去板材的1/2) (2) 经耐水处理后,其耐久性高于一般石膏建筑材料。 (3) 微细的小气泡可使板材减轻重量,且能进一步提高隔热和隔声效果。 (4) 板材表面贴有极薄的无纺织物,故可直接用作装修饰面。
