从一九五八年三月我省创办农业中学以来,己经七个年头了。七年来的事实,充分证明了农业中学这种半农半读的教育制度具有巨大的优越性和强大的生命力。七年来,全省有几十万农村青少年先后在农业中学学习。他们大多数是贫农下中农的子女,很多人还是家里几代人当中第一个有文化的人。如果没有农业中学,他们在高小毕业以后,大都是不可能进中学的。因为,解放以后农村的全日制中学虽然有了很大发展,但还不可能满足所有的并且是日益增多的高小毕业生的
It has been seven years since our province founded the Agricultural Middle School in March 1958. The facts in the past seven years have fully proved that this semi-agricultural and semi-reading education system in agricultural middle schools has enormous superiority and powerful vitality. In the past seven years, hundreds of thousands of rural teenagers across the province have successively studied in agricultural middle schools. Most of them are the children of poor farmers under the middle peasants, and many of them are the first literate people of several generations in the family. If there is no agricultural secondary school, after graduating from high school and junior high school, it is mostly impossible to go to secondary school. Because, although the rural full-time secondary schools after the liberation have made great progress, it is still impossible to satisfy all of them and it is the growing number of graduates of higher and lower education.
