军团病又名退伍军人病,自1976年美国大规模流行以来,世界各地许多国家均有报告。目前认为是一种急性呼吸道传染病,与普通肺炎不易区别,多在人群集中的地方爆发流行,病死率高。为提高对本病的认识,特作如下介绍。军团病的历史军团病是早已存在且普遍发生的疾病,但首次被证实的是1976年美国费城的一次爆发流行。美国退伍军人协会宾夕法尼亚分会在费城的斯特拉特福德旅馆举行第58届年会,参加会议的代表及其家属共4400余人,从7月22日到8月3日,在与会者中爆发了原因不明而症状相同的疾病,其特征为发热、咳嗽和肺炎症,共182人,进出或接近这家旅馆的当地居民中也有39人发病。发病的221人中,死亡34人。这次大规模流行而又未被认识的严重疾病,使人们惊恐异常,就以会议的名称命名为“军团病”或“退伍军人病”(Legion-naires disease)。
Legionnaires ’disease, aka Legionnaires’ disease, has been reported in many countries around the world since the mass epidemic in the United States in 1976. At present, it is considered as an acute respiratory disease, which is not easily distinguished from ordinary pneumonia, and is more prevalent in places where people are concentrated and has a high case fatality rate. To improve the understanding of this disease, special make the following introduction. Legionnaires ’disease history Legionnaires’ disease is a pre-existing and widespread disease, but for the first time, an outbreak was confirmed in 1976 in Philadelphia, United States. The Legion of Veterans’ Association of Pennsylvania held its 58th Annual Meeting at the Stratford Hotel in Philadelphia. Over 4,400 delegates and their families attended the conference and from July 22 to August 3, participants broke out A total of 182 people with unexplained and symptomatic conditions characterized by fever, cough and pneumonia were also found in 39 of the locals who entered or came to the hotel. Out of 221 people, 34 died. Known for its meeting name, the legion-naires disease, a pandemic of pandemic unrecognized serious illnesses.
