柑桔红蜘蛛(Panonychus citri Mcg.)是南充地区柑桔主要害虫。近年来由于单纯使用化学农药防治,大量天敌被杀伤,害螨抗药性增强,许多原来效果很好的农药相继失效,为害逐年加重,防治日益困难。不少桔园因此螨为害而造成大量落叶和枯梢,果品产量与质量严重下降。为寻求有效的综合防治措施,1978年我们经过室内饲养和田间释放试验,
Panonychus citri Mcg. Is a major citrus pest in Nanchong.
