The traditional method of artificially calculating artillery firing elements using shots, drawing boards, coordinate paper and slide rule, is not only cumbersome and slow but also inaccurate and can easily create human error. Therefore, there is a need for a device that can quickly and accurately determine firing elements. With the advent of self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, this demand has become even more pressing.
