亲爱的老根据地革命烈士家属们,革命军人家属们!革命残废军人们和坚持长期革命斗争的父老兄弟姊妹们!我们奉中央人民政府和毛主席之命,来访问你们,谨向你们致亲切而热烈的敬意!各老根据地是中国人民革命的发源地,中国共产党曾在这些地方组织革命军队,训练革命人才,准备了在全国胜利的基本力量。各老根据地的人民与军队,曾拿起武器,和占优势的敌人打过无数次的仗,得到过无数次的胜利。各老根据地在人民的主力军队撤出以后,曾经遭受蒋介石匪党惨无人道的烧杀,但人民绝不屈服,坚持游击战争和其它各种形式的革命斗争,一直到全国解放。各老根据地在残酷的革命战争中,曾经创造出经济建设、文化建设、军事建设的惊人成绩,表现出劳动人民的优秀品质与无穷的力量。
Dear old base revolutionary martyrs and their relatives, members of the revolutionary military! Revolutionary criminals and fathers, brothers and sisters who persevere in the long-term revolutionary struggle! We, with the orders of the Central People’s Government and Chairman Mao, will come to visit you and hereby extend our cordialness to you Warm regards! The old bases are the birthplace of the Chinese people’s revolution. The Chinese Communist Party organized revolutionary armed forces in these areas to train revolutionary personnel and prepare basic forces for victory throughout the country. The people and the armies of the old base areas have taken countless battles and fought countless battles with their dominant enemies. After the withdrawal of the main force of the people from the old bases, the old base areas suffered the inhuman and inhuman killing of the Chiang Kai-shek bandit party. However, the people never give in and adhere to the guerrilla warfare and various other forms of revolutionary struggle until the entire country is liberated.
