英语教学是科学,也是艺术。她应当洋溢着和谐与自然的氛围,应当放射出诗意的光彩,进发出创造的火花。而要达到这种教学和谐发展的境界,在很大程度上依赖于教师的人格魅力。记得一位哲人说过,教师人格是教育事业的一切,是任何东西都不能代替的照亮学生心灵的阳光。放眼我国英语教学领域,几乎没有一位名师不重视自身人格力量在英语教学中的重要作用,他们以自己的人格形象,为学生树立了做人的榜样,同时也使他们的英语教学具有了特殊的感染力,从而达到英语教学和谐发展的境界。
English teaching is science and art. She should be filled with the atmosphere of harmony and nature, should radiate a poetic brilliance, enter the spark of creation. To achieve this level of harmonious development of teaching, to a large extent depends on the charm of the teacher’s personality. I remember that a philosopher once said that teacher personality is everything in the education business. It is the sunshine that illuminates the student’s soul. Looking at the field of English teaching in our country, there is hardly a single teacher who does not attach importance to the important role of her own personality in English teaching.
