转Bt基因抗虫棉R19品系对棉铃虫有明显的抗性。饲喂5个抗虫棉株系盛花期叶片5天后,初孵棉铃虫幼虫的死亡率为56.7%,对照泗棉3号和太193两个常规推广品种初孵幼虫的死亡率分别为21.1%和18.4%。转Bt基因抗虫棉R19叶片能显著延缓棉铃虫的发育进程,饲喂R19叶片5天后,存活幼虫以2龄虫为主;饲喂泗棉3号叶片5天后,存活幼虫以3龄虫为主。R19盛花期对棉铃虫的抗性可能受一对显性主基因控制。
Bt transgenic Bt cotton R19 strains have obvious resistance to cotton bollworm. The mortality of newly hatched cotton bollworm larvae was 56.7% after feeding five insect-resistant cotton plants at full-flowering leaves for 5 days.
