加强社会主义精神文明建设的宣传,既需要高度的革命热情,又需要严格的科学态度。如何使我们宣传精神文明建设的报道更有吸引力、说服力、感染力,是不可不认真研究的一个重要课题。新闻报道既要真实,又要科学。尤其当转折时候,如果新闻工作者缺乏科学头脑,一味地去赶时髦,追浪头,很容易以一种倾向掩盖另一种倾向。我们吃过这方面的苦头。如,提倡“一部分人先富起来”时,不少人对“向钱看”又是“正名”又是“辨”,捧得比花还香;时隔不久,强调“共同富裕”时,“向钱看”又被骂得一钱不值。类似这种片面性的、绝对化的宣传,极易给人造成“政策多变”的错觉,使人茫然失措,无所适从,也常使我们的新闻工作者陷于“自打耳光”的窘迫
