所谓行为科学,即是运用心理学、社会学、人类学等学科知识,来研究人类行为综合性的应用科学。行为科学是西方国家现代管理科学两大管理派别之一。它发源于美国,研究内容在于:人的本性与需要,行为的动机,尤其是生产中的人际关系（包括领导与被领导关系）。现代资本主义企业管理,强调从人的本性中去激发动力,十分重视行为科学的研究与应用。采取多种办法,调和劳资矛盾,增强职工对企业生产经营成果的关心,激发职工实现资本增殖的积极性。借以调节企业人与人的关系,提高劳动生产率。
