Fourteen male goats were randomly assigned to HS (n = 8) and NS (n = 6) treated with hypertonic sodium chloride solution. After simulating the 4000m altitude environment for 24 hours, the average arterial pressure dropped to 5.5 ± 0.32kPa via the femoral artery and maintained for 60min. Then clamp the tube, the two groups were fed via the femoral vein 4ml / kg of hypertonic sodium chloride solution or saline. The results showed that cardiac output, mean arterial pressure, CvO_2, AB, BE gradually recovered and approached the control value after the hypertonic sodium chloride solution was infused. These results suggest that animals in HS group have longer survival time and higher survival rate, which may be related to the increase of sodium ion concentration in plasma to enhance myocardial contractility, increase effective circulating blood volume, improve tissue oxygen supply and partially correct metabolic acidosis.
