Phenytoin sodium can cause a variety of dyskinesia, but has so far not been able to induce or aggravate tardive dyskinesia. The authors report a 55-year-old male taking phenytoin (300 mg / day) after discontinuation of haloperidol and two years after continuing tardive dyskinesia for three and a half years. Including severe facial dyskinesia, 20 beats / min articulation and limbs dancing refers to the kind of movement. Patients stopped using phenytoin for one week, their dyskinesia decreased, and their number of tongues reduced to 4 beats / min. Re-use of phenytoin sodium, involuntary movement disorders have increased, and its serum phenytoin sodium level of only 4μg / ml. The authors believe that phenytoin sodium can cause or worsen tardive dyskinesia; this time as other signs of cerebellar movement disorders may or may not. Its blood concentration is not
