东北工学院与抚顺钢厂合作,在冶金部统一计划下共同进行了对引进设备VHD炉的消化工作,在没有引进工艺软件的情况下,厂、校双方紧密配合,组织多学科的技术力量对VHD精炼轴承钢工艺及VHD精炼法的基础理论进行了大量的实验室研究和现场试验,使设备运转正常,工艺规程不断改进和完善,产品质量稳定。经检验,精炼后的轴承钢,其稳定夹杂物含量、气体含量等指标均达到了国际先进水平。
