中国移动通信集团广东公司(以下简称中国移动广东公司)从2007年开始建设“管理信息一体化”模式,经过两年多的平台整合与应用管理模式整合,目前已初见成效——实现了资源和需求的整合化、管理的规范化、服务的标准化与成果的共享化,做到了以管理一体化带动信息一体化,以信息一体化促进管理一体化,企业的资源整合效能显著提高。相应地,中国移动广东公司在2008年国家信息化评测中心(CECA)主办的、面向国内企业的信息化发展水平调查活动中,以同行业省级企业第一的总成绩,荣膺2007年度中国企业信息化500强并获重大企业信息化建设成就奖。从资源整合的效能看,中国移动广东公司的“管理信息一体化”是中国移动管理模式新战略下的成功实践,其不仅突破了现有的地域、体制等约束,而且在很大程度上满足了“低成本高效战略”的需要,在实际应用中取得了明显的经济效益和管理效益。
