将不同硬件平台上的应用软件相互移植,这是多平台编程系统的最终追求。从工厂企业最终用户的角度,他们希望即使控制系统是用不同厂家的硬件,同一类型的机械设备或生产线能运用同一种控制程序(或控制模块)。 IEC 61131-3作为工控编程语言的国际标准已为越来越多的工业控制技术人员所认知和采用。可以说,它是实现多平台编程系统达到程序能反复使用的一个重要基础。采用数据引擎技术将功能块的计算过程与对应控制器的计算指令系统隔离开来,是实现程序移植的另一种方法。
