九月下旬农牧渔业部全国农业技术推广总站委托山西省农牧厅在山西运城市主持召开了全国地膜植棉座谈讨论会,参加会议的有全国十五个产棉省、市、自治区农业部门主管棉花生产的业务领导和科技人员以及部分重点县的代表,共七十余人。这次会是继北方六省(鲁、晋、豫、冀、陕、辽)地膜植棉分组考察结束后接着召开的。会议期间听取了考察组的汇报,并对近几年来各地推广地膜植棉所取得的成效、经验和存在问题以及84年的打算等,进行了交流和座谈讨论,与会代表还参观了运城市郊、万荣县城关公社和山西省棉花所等地膜植棉搞得好的生产和科研单位。现将情况汇报如下:
