Huang Zhenchun graduated from Nanjing University in 1984 with a master’s degree. In 1987, he went to the United States to study at his own expense in 1989. He obtained his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the State University of New York in 1993 and his postdoctoral fellowship was at the State University of New York and the Department of Electronic Engineering at the University of Maryland. He was employed by Raytheon Corporation, the second largest defense company in the United States in 1995, and has been with the Exploration Systems Division at NASA’s Gotha Flight Center since 1995. Last year, he returned to China as chief scientist. For over 20 years, Huang has been engaged in the research and development of semiconductor materials and optoelectronic devices. He has successively engaged in material research and growth of compound semiconductors, development of light-emitting devices, development of CCD imaging systems and UV detection systems. He has published more than 60 articles Academic paper. He also worked part-time at the University of Maryland Department of Electronic Engineering and the United States SEP Optoelectronics, respectively, as a researcher and research and development manager. In 2001, Huang Chunchun was hired by the United Nations as a joint expert in TOKTEN + STAR. At the same time, he was hired by the State Ministry of Science and Technology as a high-tech torch overseas consulting expert.
