轧钢加热炉水管进行耐火可塑料包扎,对节约燃料,提高加热质量,延长炉体寿命的好处是为大家所公认的,此处不想赘述。由于予制块安装简便、省时间,且修补方便,目前,大部分厂子都已采用此法。但是,水管包扎层的使用寿命,现在各厂很不一样,情况之差相当悬殊,寿命短者仅2～3个月(甚至1～2个星期);寿命长者却达9个月以上。延长水管包扎层的使用寿命,不仅对降低耐火材料消耗有直接意义,而且,对稳定节能,减少水管包扎时间,提高产量等方面都有很大作用。所以,如何延长水管包扎层的使用寿命已成为很重要的问题。
