据中国科学院教育局介绍,香港王宽诚教育基金会已在中国科学院设立“中国科学院王宽诚科研奖金”。其目的是为优秀留学人员和在国外的高级科技人员回到祖国从事科研工作提供资助。基金会每年资助10名在国外的优秀科技人员到中国科学院所属科研机构和大学进行为期3—12个月的科研活动。每年获奖的科技人员的费用(按12个月计),为人民币18000元、美金7500元。资助采取包干形式,包括生活费、国内外旅差费、科研经费及参加公费医疗等费用。
According to the introduction of the Bureau of Education of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Hong Kong Wang Kuancheng Education Foundation has set up a “Scientific Research Prize of Wang Kuancheng of the Chinese Academy of Sciences” at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its purpose is to provide financial support for outstanding overseas students and senior scientific and technical personnel abroad to return to their motherland for scientific research. The foundation subsidizes 10 outstanding scientists and technicians abroad every year to carry out scientific research activities of 3 to 12 months to research institutions and universities affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The annual award of scientific and technical personnel costs (by 12 months), for 18,000 yuan, 7,500 US dollars. Funding to take the form of contract, including living expenses, domestic and international travel costs, research funding and participation in public medical expenses.
