党的十六大以来,我们党在邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想指导下,在新的实践中提出了科学发展观、构建社会主义和谐社会、建设社会主义新农村、建设创新型国家、加强党的执政能力建设和先进性建设等一系列重大战略思想。十七大修正的党章按照中央确定的修改原则和全党同志的愿望,从以下方面体现了党的理论创新成果:
